I've been playing guitar and singing for a few years now. I'm 29 yrs old. I would like to start a band-Heavy metal. I know a few Metallica songs on guitar, and am currently learning Mr. Tinkertrain by Ozzy. My sound on vocals is a lot like Hetfield/Metallica since I have been influenced the most by them, LOUD. I'm a stronger vocalist than guitarist, because I've been singing longer by about a year. On guitar, most heavily influenced by Dimebag Darrell and Zakk Wylde. I have not yet written any original stuff, but would like to. I have some riffs stored away, but haven't tried putting any lyrics to any of them. I'm looking for people to jam with that can become a bands and are SERIOUS about making music and recording original material. DO NOT WANT TO BE A COVER BAND.
