Folk-rocky, broad range of influences--60s garage, Byrds, Beatles, Teenage Fanclub, the Go-Betweens, the dBs, Brill Building pop. Favorite writers include people like Marshall Crenshaw, Alejandro Escovedo, Robyn Hitchcock, Chuck Prophet, Amy Rigby. But I think the writer that's meant the most to me is Ray Davies of the Kinks.
