Drummer looking to join or start a band with like-minded musicians. I've been playing for over 20 years and prefer heavier straight-ahead rock with a little "twang" thrown in for good measure (see influeneces below). Aiming for mostly originals, but believe that ya gotta do some covers just cos they're fun for us and the audience. I'm 35, have a steady job and own a house, so if you're looking to drive a van around the country for 6 months I'm not your guy. BUT, I do want to play out and eventually record and take the band as far as possible. I believe you must treat a band like a business if you want to achieve anything, but first and foremost it's got to be FUN. Contact me if interested and we'll plan to meet.
