Action Man is the worlds first Action Punk band inspired by action films and comic books.
If the Misfits and the A Team had a baby... it would be Action Man.
We started playing in Dec 2014 and blew up on the Philly scene becoming one of the hottest new bands out there. Unfortunately on May 12 our singer Dutch Maverick passed away. He would want us to continue on our mission and we are not going to let him down.

We have played shows in support of national acts like Against the Grain, Bang Tango, and punk legends The Meatmen. We have shows lined up, 9 original songs, over 1000 fans on , and a great buzz going for us.

We also do everything ourselves. Our bass player is also a professional sound engineer and we record all our own stuff in our studio. Our guitarist does all our DIY music videos (see ./actionmanband).

We have ALOT to offer and dont want to settle for anything less than a rockstar action hero frontman.

We do old school style melodic punk and heavy metal.
Looking for a Danzig, Jerry Only, James Hetfield, Jim Morrison, Ian Astbury type tenor/baritone singer who CAN SING, has stage presence, LOVES action films and comic books, and has a decent passable "action hero" look. Music isnt a fashion show, but if you are singing about action films etc you need to look the part.

Rent is $400 a month so singer would take on responsibility for 1/4 of that ($100 a month)
