One of Columbia, SC's most popular cover bands, Rock Candy is looking to fill the position of vocalist/bassist. We play the most popular clubs around. The band plays primarily weekends, no overnights, & very limited out-of-town shows. We are looking for someone who can fill the spot of vocalist and bassist (one spot) while putting on a great stage show that our crowds have come to expect. We give a great party feel from the stage but we are 100% business off. Our bandmate is retiring and leaving us on great terms around the end of April. If you are interested please check out our site http://www.iloverockcandy.com We want someone between 28 and 38 who is in good shape and can bring the heat live. Pro gear is a must. We have extremely minimal rehearsal but maximum shows/pay potential. We will be auditioning candidates with three songs only: Sweet Child of Mine (Guns 'n' Roses) to test range; Your Love (The Outfield) to test harmony ability--we do 4-part harmonies; and a song of your choice from our list. We tune down 1/2 step and are all on in-ear monitors. Now, what we don't want: no drugs, no attitudes, we don't play with wives or girlfriends so NO DRAMA, and we are not changing our set list to accommodate a singer.
