Hi! My name is Ryan, Im a drummer currently located in The DFW area. I play for band called Gonzo city and other projects. This last year Gonzo City has been preforming in DFW area and other shows out side of metroplex, band has finished first EP (about to release NOV 12') and already almost finished with a second one. Unfortunately our great friend and bassist is having to step down as bassist. We are now searching for the right bassist to fill the void and who loves to write and play on a regular basis. Rehearsal is 1 to 2 times per week. 2 to 3 gigs per month in DFW area (for now). All current members are late in 20's or early 30's.
Must have own quality gear and transportation. We do like to party and have a good time but responsibility is a must. Take care of your business first and then do whatever it is you want to do.
Some influences include QOTSA, Hendrix, Ween, Dave Matthews Band, Rodrigo y Gabriela, Deftones, Dinosaur Jr, Tom Waits, Red Hot Chili Peppers among many others. We throw in a few different styles. We look forward to throwing in yours if its a good fit.
