ABOUT
Pro level guitarist / back-up vocals; 45+ years experience; multiple bands; music degree; studio experience; Instructor of Guitar for Limestone University; published arranger; created copyright manuscripts for The Marshall Tucker Band; excellent ear - can play most covers very close to the original. Also play slide guitar and read charts. Quick study; hard working team player. Lead guitarist for two bands that advanced to the state finals in national band talent search competitions. Co-wrote: The Watcher - a song that received radio airplay and was included on the Best of the Upstate album for South Carolina (Miller Rock to Riches finalist).
Retired early to pursue music full time and looking to connect with seasoned musicians for high profile gigs: Corporate / Weddings / Reunions / Festivals / Private Parties / Clubs. I love performing for live audiences and truly enjoy working to achieve a professional sound and quality performance - plus have fun in the process! Favorite genres include: Classic Rock, Southern Rock, Blues, Oldies -- also experience in Country, Jazz, Soft Rock/Pop, R&B, Classical/New Age. Would consider acoustic duo/trio. Would enjoy playing with Journey, Doobies, Eagles, or Heart tribute band.
My primary goal is to find like-minded musicians who enjoy working together to achieve a high quality product that will provide the audience with an enjoyable experience and result in referrals and repeat gigs. Other instruments include bass guitar, drums and keyboard. Professional equipment, professional attitude.
