"The Forgiven" is a very experienced Contemporary Christian band based
in the Marietta, GA area. With years of playing and performance
experience, including studio work, the band partners with Contemporary
Christian worship leaders across the Southeast to create high quality
worship experiences. With hundreds of woship songs already in our
repertoire (and more added weekly) we are always interested in talking
with worship leaders that could use the services of a road tested rhythm
section.

The band is also open to opportunities to work with other musicians in
secular venues. For example, "The Forgiven" works as part of the core
rhythm section in the band Blues4You, a 15 piece showband dedicated to
the music of the Blues Brothers and Chicago (you can see Blues4You
perform at the Powder Springs 4th of July Celebration in downtown Powder

Each member of The Forgiven is experienced in muliple styles of music
ranging from Classic Rock to Jazz to Orchestral. Each musician has the
ability to read charts, leadsheets, and just about anything else which
enables us to adapt quickly to any artist and style of music.

Many Sundays You can see The Forgiven participate in the "11th Hour"
worship experience at Roswell Street Baptist Church as the core rhythm section of The Connections Band.

We are looking for a couple of band members to round out our touring
roster. We are looking for an acoustic guitar player and a keyboard
player with simliar credentials to the rest of the band. Vocal
abilities are a plus.

Influences:

Collectively the band has derived it's style from artists such as
Hillsong, David Crowder, Chris Tomlin, Third Day, and others in
the classic rock style. As individuals our musical influences are very
diverse.

Rex plays Gretch drums, Evans EC-1 Clear heads for toms, Evans coated for snare. Shure instrument mics, Countryman headset vocal mic, Sabian Zildjian, and Paiste cymbals. Gibralter hardware. Vater Sticks. Bose PS-1 audio re-inforcement.
