I am a classically trained musician with a BA in music-classical guitar, voice, and mandolin. My style is best described as "Art Rock/Progressive." My singing is art style while my instrument playing is a mixture of classical, British progressive and metal and celtic folk. Since there is not a listing for "Progressive" in the music genres, I chose "Classic Rock" because you often see groups like Yes and ELP listed as "classic rock." I do progressive arrangements of hymns. I sing soprano and layer electric guitar, mandolin, classical guitar and bass with a drum machine on my recordings. I've been wanting to do some secular music that I could play at clubs or restraunts. I like to sing what I'd call nice love songs-like Celine Dione, Peter Cetera, Chicago, and Michael Bolton do. Those kind of songs would be better with piano, than guitar. The main reason I came on here is to find a keyboardist who would like to do that type of music.
