Long time Athens resident/drummer looking to mix up 1950's-60's jazz, blues, and rock..... perhaps with a touch of Motown, experimental, and psychedelia (early Dead). Huge Hendrix, Cream, Allmans fan. Surf could probably work too.
Basically, put together some warm electric (and eclectic!) tones that swing. I've got a practice space. Any folks out there?

Jazz, Blues, old rock, maybe a pinch of psychedelia. Art Blakey, Mingus, Miles Davis, Lee Morgan, Coltrane, Soft Machine, Hendrix, Cream, Paul Butterfield, John Lee Hooker, 1960's San Francisco stuff.

1965 Ludwig drums, 1976 Premier, 1997 Ludwig drums (custom ordered by me!), Old world cymbals. Piles of snare drums. I struggle with GAS, too.
