I am a solo R&B singer and song writer. In the studio, I do all of my back vocals. I have a great ear for harmony,although I am a solo performer. I do like the idea of performing in a singing group.

I had recently worked on projects with my former singing group. The fellas schedule are so full so our debut full CD album has been placed on ice. I have a new solo single "Savor Every Moment" Which is available at cdbaby.com/cd/samiyo I would love to perform this new single with a live band. In the near future, i would like also to start a new singing group. who are serious about performing and eventually entering televised opportunities.

I have so many artist who have influenced and inspired me. Many members of my family as well as artist such as Dionne Warwick, The Jackson's, The Carpenters, Peter Paul and Mary, Take six, Luther Vandross, Martha Wash, Gladys knight and the pips. Etc.
