What's up folks. My name is Samantha B. and I am a 25 year old musician here in Cincinnati. A little about me...I've played a whole slew of instruments throughout my life including piano, bass guitar, cello, and yes even working out the turn tables for a couple of years. However my two favorite instruments would be the drums, which I have been playing since I was 7 years old, and of course, vocals. Myself, I don't consider my strong point to be belting out long notes and hitting crazy runs, but I can sing. I love to rap (lyrically, so it's not like I'm just talking on the mic like half of the male rappers out there today) and I love to beatbox. I always beatbox on every track as part of the percussion layers. I think it's crucial to making this epic duo that I am looking for.
In terms of what I am looking for in a partner, I need a FEMALE hip hop singer. Sorry guys, but I am looking for an epic female duo. I would like someone around my own age and I need a beautiful female. I know it sounds a little weird now that I've actually said it, but sex sells in this industry and for me (or us) to make it, everything has to be just in line from sound, to look, to group name. I need someone who is fully committed like myself and is available several nights a week to write and record. I majored in Music Business at the University of Belmont for 2 years before finances drove me back to Cincinnati. So I've got a decent idea of where to go once the songs are actually recorded and ready to distribute, but it's getting all those songs ready and recorded that's the hard part.
