Influences
B.B. Rebozo is a mix between improvised ambient music and rock - instrumental ambient jam, I guess you'd call it. We are in the same genre as Godspeed you Black Emperor, Explosions in the Sky, and Thee Silver Mt. Zion Orchestra. The music is semi-improvised: we rehearse certain shapes and patterns and ideas and expand upon them in performance, plus come up with totally new stuff. Like the other bands mentioned, this music can go from extremely sparse (there may be parts with no drums at all, just very, very light percussion) to very rocking.
EQUIPMENT
Several guitars - Danelectros, Fender Strat (heavily modified), Martin etc., lots of FX & I know how to use 'em.
Also have quite a few keyboards, an acoustic grand piano, and a small recording studio.
