I gravitate toward heavier music (hard rock, punk, alternative, some metal) but listen to a variety of different artists/bands/genres. Favorites include: The Ramones, Nirvana, Ministry (Paul Barker era), The White Stripes, Nine Inch Nails, Tool, L7, Death From Above 1979, Hole, Patsy Cline, The Dead Kennedys, Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers, Flight Of The Conchords, Buddy Holly, The Smashing Pumpkins, The Black Keys (preferably the earlier stuff), Roy Orbison, The Beatles, Marilyn Manson ("Holy Wood" and earlier), The Sonics, and lots of other stuff I can't think of right now.
