To me, there are two reasons to play music, for fun and to worship the Lord who made everything possible.

Influences:

For guitar, it was Steve Howe, then a lot of jazz players. I got a HD radio in my car just to listen to 107.5 II smooth jazz.

I picked up bass to mainly help my recordings and bands where there was not a bass player. I started in the EB-0 mode, but grew out of that and now push the 4003 sound ala Chris Squire (Yes)/Geddy Lee (Rush).

Basically, I can do both roles (guitar/bass) and find them both fun.
