About
Sax-man Kelvin Wilson; would like to be the entertainment for your next bookings for Clubs, Events, Weddings, Private Parties etc; we are not just a local band but a proven recording artist that lights up the stage every time we perform. We recorded an album in the late 80's that was well received and a few of the songs are still being played on most Radio station today One of the most popular of the songs is called "Hey You" Sung by lead vocalist and bass player Rodney Washington.
The Band consists of 5 multi talented musicians that electrify the audience with every song played. We are currently working on a new CD with hopes of completion by early next year. I will post all upcoming performance with hope of seeing you in the crowd of people enjoying both our smooth jazz side and old school funks side with a touch a rock & roll. Guitarist Quinton Amaka better known as Knox, plays many styles of guitar, he also has a great voice that is featured and requested many times during the show. I can go on about SYMBA; Bassist Jerry White can play everything from GoGo to Gospel and jazz. We use two keyboardist, they make any song come alive. Mr. Will Thomas, we call him Teach and Mr. Jerry Paris both considered the best in the area playing any style of music requested.
Each and every member of this band has unique talents that helps make your night of entertainment or special event a success. I hope that you will come out and join us to see for yourself. We are an experienced Band currently performing all around the DC/MD/VA performing our hit ballad "Hey You" We plays many different styles. I consider the band to be a free style instrumentalist. We studied and understand music theory, but have mostly played by ear for many years. I enjoy the chemistry of playing with others and making something old to new. I am looking to performing for your next event.
We have an expressive sound that captures the live music market. I believe that people want and need to be entertained. Let us entertain you soon.
