I'm a serious sax player who is looking for like minded people who would like to create musical excellence. The genre matters not to me as much as the people I'm surrounded with. That being said, I will not play country music no matter how good the band.
I am not an accomplished soloist, but I am always learning and do sight read very well. I play the clarinet some, but the flute still eludes me.

Influences
There are plenty, but I like Cannonball Adderley in particular as well as Lou Marini, Jr. - and who plays the sax that isn't influenced by Charlie Parker? I also like the sounds of Tower of Power, Blood Sweat and Tears, and various other horn bands. Standards are great, Broadway is fun, but there are too many good things out there to play to limit myself to any one thing.
