Michael is a local musician who can be seen performing with the Lenoir Saxophone Ensemble or various other groups in the area playing everything from classical to blues to spirituals and hot jazz. He writes and records his own songs and compositions. He has performed and recorded with several different groups including Chris Vadala, Lenny Pickett, Ernie Watts, Barbara McNair, Ed Shaughnessy, Loonis McGlohan, Steve Hansgen, Stephen Pollock, Tom Constanten, the Nouveau Passé Orchestra, the Western Piedmont Symphony, the Asheville Symphony, the Nelson Riddle Orchestra, the Buddy K Big Band, The Temptations, Velvet Truckstop, as well as many other combos and bands. He is available for studio work.
