Singer/songwriter/guitarist presently performing in Montgomery AL area, fronted and played sideman with several bands over the last 25 years doing r&b & funk, blues, rock, and originals. Very versatile guitarist, a dynamic lead singer , efficient with harmonies. Auditioned for The Red Hot Chili Peppers on guitar in 1993, worked with the late legendary blues harp player Topper Price in the mid-nineties, played with David Allan Coe in 2003, opened shows for Willie Nelson, KC & The Sunshine Band, Alabama, The Black Crowes and Pat Green. After serving in the Navy as a Gas Turbine Technician, Scott began performing hundreds of songs from Cole Porter to Jimi Hendrix to Marvin Gaye. Scott currently performs every Tuesday with the Montgomery-based r&b institution Sabadas at The Shack Bar & Grill , as well as performing acoustic shows every Monday night at 1048 Jazz & Blues, often with legendary Montgomery sax player & flautist Sam Williams. Scott leads Montgomery-based power trio Hat Trick, specializing in the music of Jimi Hendrix, as well as performing throughout the southeast with Music Gardens show band Power Surge, who is also now known as B. B. King's Blues All - Star Band at the Creek Casino BB King's in Montgomery, Alabama.
"Gemini" (2012) contains 12 original songs with some great players including Oteil Burbridge of The Allman Brothers Band. Second album "Simpatico" (2015) is 11 more original compositions made with Scott's bandmates Bart Morgan and Sam Williams. Both albums are digitally available worldwide on iTunes and all other major music services. The videos are "Make A Stand" solo acoustic and "Peace Highway" with HAT TRICK, both original compositions, and a cover of Eric Clapton's "Old Love" with Sabadas.
