ABOUT

Highly skilled in Rock, Blues, Country, and acoustic playing styles. I am also available to provide acoustic guitar selections for weddings and special occasions.

I have played guitar since the age of six, with the 1964 performance by The Beatles on the Ed Sullivan Show as the main spark. Over the years I have mastered several styles of music. In the 1990’s, my band The Quivers was among the first indie artists to utilize the internet to distribute recorded music on early platforms such as MP3, Garageband, and Napster. As part of my MBA degree, I undertook an independent study in 1998 examining how online distribution of music was transforming the recording industry. My musical accomplishments include contributions to Steven Springer's "Caribbean Collection" (released 1995 on the Schoolkids Label), producer and engineer credits on Tom Hodgson's two popular children's music releases (Songs of the Earth and Songs for Mother Earth funded by a grant from the Jackson County Community Foundation), three cd released with my band The Quivers (Quake 1998, Hear the Sound 1999, and The Quivers 2001), and two guest appearances on Mitch Albom’s nationally syndicated program in 2001.
