Been playing and recording for years around the house for friends and family for fun. Then I played in my previous church's P&W band for a couple years, but that was over 2 years ago. I've gotten sort of rusty playing by myself and would like to get back to a duo/trio or group setting. I am currently into an Americana/Folk/Country Blues phase I guess you would say. As a kid growing up, that's mostly what my parents listened to and as I've gotten older a lot of that music has really become endearing to me, but I never really tried to play it until the last several years or so. I also like a lot of jazz/swing stuff, but I have a hard time getting it out of my fingers! I've recently started experimenting with some alternate tunings, trying to write some songs, and learning to use my new looper pedal and somehow incorporate it into my playing. Singing isn't my strong point, I wasn't exactly blessed with a great voice, but I like to sing and am working on getting better at it. I like pretty much every genre of music there is except for rap, hip-hop or metal. I'd like to do some cover and original material of both secular and Christian music in an acoustic setting. I have posted a couple instrumental recordings that represent my varied interests. Hope you enjoy. Acoustic is the direction I really want to go, but I'm open to anything. Looking to jam/collaborate with like-minded Christian individuals to share ideas, learn from each other and see what happens. Let's start by having fun and go from there.
