This band actually started in 1987. All original, mostly Christian some secular variety of blues, southern rock, jazz, and even country-based. I'm starting back after a three-year hiatus and am looking for players willing to remake these tracks and re-release some of them with the goal of getting management/booking and a decent circuit (no bars or sleaze-tours). Various large churches, some fairs, and opening for nationals in this region...I do have contacts and welcome any input. I am under the covering of Shining Light Bible Church in Sarasota and work with the youth band under youth pastor Rocky Byers. I'm 56years young!

Influences:

Influences are widely varied as are the styles I've written in over the decades. Mostly now, the influence of Jesus Christ and my desire to do God's will in my life are the top priority. The old blues masters, British blues artists, Duane Allman, Clapton, Eric Johnson, Peter Greene, Mark Knopfler, Dickey Betts, Dan Toler, and even Yngwie Malmsteen have had an affect on my playing.

Equipment List:

I have a small P.A and some lights...enough to do from 100 indoors up to 1,500, maybe more, outdoors. It's good for most small concerts. JBL mains (3-way) with Crest and Qsc power, EV monitors (both active and passive with up to 8 mixes onstage)with crown and QSC power. Any shows we get booked on will have their own production. I like a big sound. As a lead guitarist I use double Marshall half-stax whenever I can. In small churches, etc. I can go down to a 15watt Blues Jr if I need to. Versatility and comfort with our stage sound is most important and having gear that we know intimately tops the list. I let my crew go, what with no work now, but we can all find people who will move us. If you know of or have a tech of your own, please say so. Usually, one crew man must be a competent FOH engineer, and the other one will run monitors from the stage. The FOH man will tour manage and the monitor man will stage manage. A four-man band can use a three-man crew to handle drums, keys, guitars, etc. It makes a tight seven-to-eight man unit on a bus. So, pray about it.

Members Of Band:

Please be born again and have your priorities straight. No drunks, drugs, whore-mongers, etc. This is ministry, even on a secular level. Music used to be my god. Now, God is my music and in all things we were made to worship Him with our music...even if it doesn't exactly say so, it's all dedicated to Him ultimately.
Young players welcome, just know your stuff and be versatile...there's alot I can learn from you!! We will be trading ideas on these tracks and, hopefully, growing together from this point. So, pray about it.
