i and welcome to our band. :)

So the demo's above and on the sound click link were all written and recorded by Sean McKenna between 2001 and 2007. Keep in mind these are IDEAS, not songs set in stone. I wrote these songs so that 4 others can contribute their ideas and turn them into what fits our style the best and feel right. As it all comes together.......who knows the name might change and of course the songs will change. The name was just one of many we thought about but need to get a page up ASAP.

Ok...with that being said here is a little about us. Danny, myself and Shaf were in a popular NYC band from 1998-2001. We played the typical NYC circuit and some places in the Northeast. When had a management deal with a manager at Arista. At that time they where looking for rock bands to sign. We showcased for some other labels at the time also (J Records, Wind Up, BMG to name a few). Long story short we never got signed and the feedback was usually the same. After we broke up in 2001, we all went our separate ways. Sean began writing and recording material, which ultimately will end up as a foundation for this band. Ideas for the band to contribute to the arrangement of my song ideas, their ideas, and turn them into what we all fell is the best. We also want to do obscure covers. Meaning taking a song you might never heard of or even laughed at but some how make it sound totally different but good at the same time.

So what are we looking for? First off a vocalist that fits the band and likes the songs. They need to be able to SING, not just scream like a lot of hard rock bands these days. Our band has quite a mix of songs, and we need some one that: 1 Can sing (duh, LOL ) 2 Has great range 3 Has a powerful voice and can get powerful when needed 4 No ego (that includes not coming in and trying to make us do all their songs only, is easy to work with, is receptive to feedback and coaching). So looking for a vocalist that, can write lyrics to others songs, great melodies, easy to work with, can rehearse at the studio at least once a week, preferably Wednesday nights before we are ready to gig. Similarly goes for a bass player. We need some one that is ready to come in an add their own flavor to the songs. Not simply play note wise what Shaf and I are.

So for both it is simple: No Egos, boozers, druggies, must have wheels an we primarily practice in the Queens Long Island NY area. Our goal is to be as original as we can and to write music we feel makes us happy not necessarily to please everyone, but we want to some how bring a piece of all we listen to and some how influence us to write what feels best. :)
