28 year old bassist looking for work. Currently not in a band. I can read music though sight-reading is not my strong point, I need to review the material before-hand. Started playing music in 3rd grade (Alto Sax, played for the school for 5 yrs) and picked up the bass at 12 so I've been playing for 16 yrs or so. Biggest influences have been John Paul Jones, Jack Bruce, Berry Oakley, Flea, I like what Claypool puts out there but i don't slap tooo much (yet...).Oh i picked 'other' for music genre because they only let you pick 3 and I'm into all sorts of stuff...
EQUIPMENT
3 basses, as well as several guitars - all electric. I have an Ampeg SVT classic head w/ a 410 half-cab. Also I have an Ampeg BA600 115 and a Blues Junior
