This is my short bio.
To see how cool I really am, you can find my full story, videos, pics, and more at my official site:
myspace dot com / shamusay.
I've been drumming since I was in diapers, sitting behind the kit for twenty five years, playing onstage for twenty one, recording in the studio for twelve, and teaching for five.
I've shared the stage with Puya, Hed(pe), Slipknot and the Acacia Strain; all of which were really cool people. My drumming experience includes Country, Funk, Southern/Classic Rock, all Metal, Acoustic, Folk, Hip-Hop, Reggae, Ska, Polka, Big-Band, Jazz, Concert, and Symphonic music, and I even sat in at a Native American Drum at a few pow-wow's. How cool is all of that? I also have twelve years experience with studio and live engineering.
Serving the song is always my first priority. I play from the heart everytime. Add that to my ambidextrous playing ability and the lighting effects and stick tricks I use, and you've got an entertained crowd enjoying a jamming song.
So, if you're on the road touring, and your engineer and/or your drummer breaks an arm, or gets sick, you can call me to save the day. Seriously.
Carter Beauford, Victor Wooten, Kenny Aronoff, Vinnie Colaiuta, Joey Jordison, Thomas Lang, Neal Peart and Danny Carey.
