I have been playing for 25 years and gigging out for 18. I was a music composition major in college for 2 years and currently teach the drumline at Shawnee HS, so I can read, write, and understand music theory. I play drum set, congas, timbales, djembe, marimba/vibes, and a little piano and harmonica. I can play in virtually any style (rock, funk, folk, straight ahead jazz, latin, afro-cuban, country, etc.) Currently, I do a few shows a month with Will Freed (set) and a few a year with the Indorfins (hand drums). I have experience in the studio as well. I can also sit in and sub without any rehearsals if necessary.
