I've played rhythm guitar for over 20 years, played the LA club scene way back when, played the Roxy and the Whiskey. It's weird now to think that that was me...it was another lifetime. And to be honest, I'm not a virtuoso. I love to play and have been intermittently gigging with cover bands since that time, but nothing serious. The truth is this: over the years, I have written a couple of album's worth of songs, and I've never really had the chance to realize them in a band. I have that naive hope to one day get it together with like-minded musicians, get them to buy into my music, and gig locally in Miami. The songs are simple, straight-ahead jangly pop: think Beatles, Stones, Who with some '80's/'90's je ne sais quoi. Probably my best song is called "So Naive"...fitting. So if there's a band out there looking to play in that genre, or move out of covers into original stuff, and doesn't get all "pro's only" hyper-serious, industry interest blah blah blah, I'd love to talk to you. I'm taking a flyer here.

So Naive
So Naive Track number: 1 Genre: Acoustic
This is the droning acoustic version of a song I wrote to be a rocker. It was the best I could pull off a couple of years ago in an apartment where I didn't have my electric guitars around. As you can tell, I need someone out there on lead vocals. The full version I recorded in the studio I've lost in my travels: it's a hell of a lot better: a jangly rocker.

Ammunition
Ammunition Track number: 2 Genre: Classic Rock
Again, not high production value on my 4 track with cheesy drum machine, but you get the idea. Apparently I am incapable on these one-offs to control the drum machine, so they tend to go on about twice as long as they should. It's a perky uptempo rocker, with what I think is a reasonably clever hook. Opening lyrics: "Fallout falling everywhere, Talks have broken off again; I loved you more than I believe/Now I'm looking all I can for Ammunition" Anyway, I thought it was a pretty good hook. I'm a bit biased. I think it would be a great live song.
