I am a very experienced musician. I have been playing in bands and playing guitar/singing for over ten years. I can sing backup or lead.

I've taken vocal lessons, keyboard lessons, guitar lessons, etc. I also have taken some music theory and appreciation courses.

I am a prolific songwriter and i have a great work ethic. I practice music everyday and have been the leader of three bands since i was 13.

I am looking to start or join a band that shares characteristics of groups like dr. dog, mgmt, ween, mr. bungle, sublime, phish, radiohead, primus, the doors, muse, the beatles, umphrey's mcgee, etc.

progressive rock with great vocal harmonies can't be beat. and i really love to put a dance feel on a lot of stuff. I also like to do covers and originals. please check out the websites listed above to hear some of my stuff. I love to work on music in general

Influences

a little bit of everything but i love music with more substance. I would really like to have a sound that shares qualities of MGMT, dr. dog, phish, sublime, the beatles, and some heavier bands like muse and mr. bungle. I like to have a wide variety of genres kind of like ween but more serious. I am also influenced by classical and love progressive rock. vocal harmonies rule!

gibson les paul, yamaha m 8, roland rs-5, roland keyboard amp, vox bruno tube amp, tc-helicon vocal effects pedal, lots of nice guitar pedals, a couple of mics, stands, and cables.
