If if you hate RUSH, you're under 25, or want to play a million gigs, DON'T BOTHER ME! LMAO
ME:
6'-3", brown/blue, 40-something but play & write like a kid. I'm big but I don't get too hidden behind my equipment LOL.
RESUME:
Just moved from L.A. where I founded 2 regionally successful bands (Gemini, Ocean) & did a zillion studio sessions.
LOOKING FOR:
I'd like to find some musicians who want to write some good stuff, play a few gigs, and possibly shop songs for fun & profit.
Ranked by level of importance:
1) Was lucky enough to have Terry Bozzio (Zappa, Missing Persons, UK) as my teacher.
1a) Neil Peart (Rush)
2) That early 80's Progressive Rock style. (Kansas, Styx, Toto, Yes, Journey, Asia, etc.)
3) Arena Rock. (Sabbath, Ozzy, Scorps, Leppard, etc.)
4) Jazz Fusion. (UK, Bruford, Ponty, Jeff Beck, many others)
5) Commercial Rock. This is #5 for fun as a drummer, but much higher priority as a songwriter.
6) Classical, African, Blues, pretty much you name it.
Lost my beloved 14-piece performance kit (along with most of my tape portfolio) in a studio fire. Currently have a survival kit: 7-piece silver single-kick w/double pedals, Zildjians & Sabians. Behringer B300 300W personal PA-quality monitor.
