In a newspaper article written about me, I was referred to as "The Modern Day Mae West"......I mix standards, jazz, blues, classical, contemporary country, R&B, and write many of my own originals. Being somewhat of a flamboyant lady, one never knows what I might be wearing on any given night and outrageous hats are my trademark!! Being somewhat of a comedienne, I may very well stop in the middle of a song to tell a joke, a crazy story, always getting my audience involved! You might say..I'm a one woman show, one never knows what to expect. Most people consider me a ballad/torch singer and swear I sing with"black" soul. EQUIPMENT
I lost all my equipment, years of handwritten music, a CD collection of over 1,000 CD's collected over a span of 40 year s during the May Floods in Daytona, FL! I currently have no equipment but plenty of songs and a lifetime of experience! I've fronted many bands over the years, have recorded four CD's, and have played at over 100 weddings and receptions!! I'm an "old school ole broad" with a huge repertoire!!
