ABOUT

My name is Craig Davson.
For the last ten years I have owned and run an entertainment company based in NZ performing throughout Australasia from NZ to Australia to the Pacific Islands.
Over the years I have done everything from outdoor concerts to corporate events from around the world to weddings, private events and everything in between.
Myself personally, I have been singing professionally for around 25 yrs from Musical Productions to rock bands to being the MC for events, guest soloist at functions and many more. My wife, before moving to NZ has performed here in the US where she is from and then joined my company for the past two years.
We have now relocated to Santa Monica Ca. and are looking at setting up my company here.
Our versatility is what has set us apart from other performers and this is what has made us so sought after as entertainers for events.
Being able to sing everything from Classical to Broadway, Swing, Jazz, Pop, Blues and Classic Rock all at a world class level has set us apart form other singers. We do what we do because we love it and are extremely good at what we do. We are very professional but also have a lot of fun. There are no egos or Divas here and I like that to be the case with the people I work with.
In NZ a lot of what we do was performed using backing tracks so I am extremely excited to see live musicians are used a lot more here than back home.
I would like to be able to put a very diverse band together with a horn section that can be broken down if a client requires a small three piece for background or can also be extended out for bigger events. To be able to play as many different styles as poss to be more appealing to possible clients knowing that certain performances such as some classical and Broadway songs will have to be done using backings for the full orchestrations.

EQUIPMENT

At the moment I have sound plus mics etc for small set ups but no lighting, though once I am set up a little more here I will make sure I have a decent sound system plus lighting for smaller corporate functions.
