Bass Guitar, Drums, Electronic Music.ABOUT
Moving to Austin wanting to start an indie pop rock band with a mix of R&B and electronic.
A simple way explain it is just a sound that fun and catchy but unique and blurs genres. The closest band to the sound I'm thinking of is The 1975.
I've been doing the singer/songwriter thing for the past 3 years and have been writing lyrics for a really long time, but I always wanted to play in a band. There's just so much more energy and music is a lot more fun and unique when there's multiple people bringing different ideas to the table. And my idea of the band is collaborative where say I write most of the lyrics/melody and then we all work on the instrumentation together rather than Simon and the so and so's. Just to clear that up since I know some singer/songwriters just want backup bands.
So if you play bass or drums and/or like producing and playing with synths and take music seriously and work hard at it (I like having fun with music but I'm also pretty driven and ambitious) and don't do drugs, hit me up.
