Female vocalist with a smooth, sultry, soulful voice seeks musicians for local Buffalo gigs and possible recording. I have some recent experience leading a jazz band and plenty of past experience in backup vocals and performance and competitions, but it's been a little while on some of those. I have a strong drive and strong work ethics. I'm working on learning software to write tracks. Looking to get more gig experience, build repertoire and confidence. I have the voice to back it up.

Influences
Classic jazz vocalists include Sarah Vaughn, Peggy Lee, Billie Holiday, Dinah Washington, Diana Krall, Nina Simone, Ella, ... I adore Cole Porter and the Gershwins. I actually listen to more hard rock, indie rock, industrial, plus pop and new wave. The Postmodern Jukebox cats seem to have caught on to something.
