ABOUT

Hi - I'm a very skilled musician, and play the piano, guitar, and drums. I do sing a bit as well. I can sight read just about anything, and can improvise on a lead sheet with ease, and transpose it to any key necessary on the fly without digital help. I have a degree in Music Production from Full Sail University, and would be a valuable asset to any band in need of a talented keyboard player with 30 years of experience (I'm 35 by the way..). I love music like the rest of us, and am very committed to working hard to achieve results.

(Note: I've noted the amount of gigs below as "100+" and just wanted to let you know the majority of these are when I held jobs playing the piano / organ at different churches, accompanying various vocalists & choirs. I'd say they still are technically "gigs" as they are indeed performances. I have however played many other gigs outside of church and am a strong performer, comfortable on stage. I felt I needed to clarify this, thanks!)

Influences

Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Aerosmith, Armin Van Buuren, Tiesto, Eric Prydz, 90's pop ballads by Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, Celine Dion, etc. (basically anything produced by Walter Afanasieff). I'm a fan of the great classical musicians, especially Beethoven, Chopin, and Mahler. I have a penchant for late-80's pop ballads (Starship's 'Nothings Gonna Stop Us Now, 'Lost In Your Eyes' by Debbie Gibson, etc. They are great songs and very well produced!) .. I am not a big fan of jazz music and simply don't have that style in my blood. Just letting you know up front! However this does not mean I avoid any Major Sevenths or other "jazz" progressions .. I'm talking about the block-chord schmaltzy dinner-party piano style and anything be-bop or the likes of Count Basie. I do write a great deal of EDM, and my preferred sub-genre is Progressive Trance. I'm really starting to get into Psy-Trance lately, and have started writing some. Well, that's about it for now... if you have any questions or just want to say hello please feel free to reach out, thanks!
