I picked up my first guitar at the age of 5 and I haven't been able to put them down since. I started out with toys, like a plastic electric guitar that came with a microphone. Later I graduated to the real thing. I've been teaching myself this whole time. Learning my first chords from my grandfather, who's in a bluegrass band. I spent most of my teenage years playing along with the radio. I can play all types of music, but rock and metal are my preferred genres. My favorite band at the moment is Soulfly, The way they mix metal with tribal beats and drums is amazing.
