"We are Skydogs!!!"
We have been together for 17 years writing and creating. Due to one thing or another as family men we've had to change directions here and there. But now as Family men our Parental obligations have been fulfilled and we are free to commit strongly to creating a Band so formidable on stage that everyone will know and love us with our original tunes. We play Alternative Rock and Roll as well as Blues. We are gonna blow this band right into the millenium with a Bang and we want you to be with us to do so. We Have 3 Group Members: Clive Smith- Bassist backup vocals, and Has opened for the Who, The Corrs, and Little Faces and has even performed with Robert Palmer himself!
Boone Hawks Drums and backup vocals and Dave Van Sise- Lead vocalist and Rythm guitarist and Blues Harpist. We are looking for professional musicians who are looking to go Big. We are looking for a Killer Lead guitarist who can play killer leads for both Blues and Rock original tunes. The ability to sing is really important to us for Harmonies, so please Be willing to sing lead and Harmonies if requested.
Dave aka "DVS" and "Daddyman" is a Lead singer/Songwriter and Co-founder of "Skydogs" and is from NY, now in Seminole, Florida,... From Kenneth City, Florida, Boone Hawks, Rock and Blues drummer extraordinare,...Bassist Clive Smith is originally from the UK, but he lives currently in St. Pete Florida Now! We are looking to go to the big clubs and beyond. Full Time!! We need people willing to like our music, and even bring yours to the table if you're able too. But right now we are looking for reasonably moral, clean, good hearted guys to play really great! We all need to click together or the unity of the music suffers. 2 out of 3 don't smoke. We don't Drink on the job (at least not one right after the other because you get too lax in performing if you do) and we all keep civil toungues in our heads both towards each other and our audiences. Ampeg Bass amp, Crate 212x guitar amp. Ibanez electric/Acoustic guitar, Fender Strat, and Fender Bass guitar, Multiple Harmonicas, 3 Shure sm58 mics, Multiple Mic stands, PA system with Floor monitors and our own lights as well.
