Serious bassist looking for like-minded pros who want to play just for the love of it. This is a P/T gig for me ... just for the fun of it. But, if you're interested in forming a top-notch well-rehearsed band for gigs up to 2x p/month contact me. Although I have a F/T job...I take this very seriously and expect others to do the same. I'm very open-minded to both originals and/or covers but only want to play with musicians who are relentless when it comes to sounding great! Very into dynamics and tasty parts. Garage bands or jammers need not apply. Looking for musicians who want to "get it right". Please be at least 35 with a sense of responsibility. You're either into it or not and you should be able to look and act the part... this is about knocking them dead during a live performance.

Rock, Metal, Fusion, some Jazz... anything but Southern Rock... big fan of 80's progressive and melodic rock. Extreme, Vai, Whitesnake, Satriani, Tesla, Mr. Big, Damn Yankees, Warrant, GNR, Chili Peppers, etc. Not into anything from the 50's and 60's and definitely not into wedding band scenarios.

Very into current rock from artists that deliver powerful crunch combined with great hooks! Chickenfoot, Theory of a Deadman, Kings of Leon, Bon Jovi, Creed, Collective Soul, Matchbox 20, 3 Doors Down, Bruce, Seether, Lifehouse, Daughtry, Foo Fighters, O.A.R., Nickelback, Hinder, Tom Petty, Black Crows, The Fray, etc. If you're looking for a "root note" player please look elsewhere. I'm in the pocket when necessary but I'm definitely into melodic lines that are tastefully done. Above all I want to deliver music that ignites a crowd and moves them!
