SEEKING

Band to Join, Bass Guitar.

ABOUT

I have an indie pop band called Les Gauches, we are currently looking for a committed bass player. We will be a 6 piece with the bass. Page with other songs is here:

I'm also into collaborating with other people, so if you want to do something interesting that isn't hardcore, screamy emo, etc, give me a buzz.

Stuff I'd love to do:
1) indietronic pop project - i have some scratch tracks, would like to flesh out with musical input from other people. I have a lot of software to play with and a midi keyboard. stuff like notwist, lali puna, postal service, etc.

2) post-rock instrumental thing. cuz i just want to play some guitar loudly. ie., explosions in the sky, mogwai, etc. there is a REALLY cool band no one's heard of from europe called "once we were" you should check out if you like this stuff.

3) totally sugary indie/noise pop. my bloody valentine is back so we could go shoegazey. I'm good at shoegazey.

4) Electric guitar and cello. I jammed once with a cellist and found the 4-track tape last summer. It was pretty cool. I'm sure this has been done, but hey, why not do it again.

EQUIPMENT

i have a blackface Fender Super Reverb and Fender jaguar, that kind of limits the sound I realize, but that's what amp modelers are for aha. A couple of pedals, etc.

I have an insane collection of recording software (mostly use Cubase SX and Fruity Loops for electronic production), samplers, VSTs. You name it I probably have it. I'm very good with Ableton at this point.
