40 Year Old Musician looking for others near the Tyler, Texas area to form or join a Christian, Country, Rock or Alternative band or a mix of a few genres. I have been playing Bass Guitar for about 28 years and have been in music for a few more than that. I started playing music as a kid when I learned piano, then trumpet, then low brass and the rest of high brass. After that I learned low and high strings which lead me to Bass Guitar. I have played in many different venues and toured with some great guys including the USMC Music Program right after I graduated High School. I can read/write charts, tab, and changes and have a pretty quick ear.

Influences
I listen to pretty much everything. When I shipped out for the Marine Band my audition was Miles Davis - So What, but I can walk a line or play a straight note. There is always something to learn from others that play.
