Smokehouse Lightning was formed in 2007. The band has come a long way since its humble beginnings as a basement blues band. Smokehouse Lightning has grown in popularity over the past 3 years and has opened second stage for “Chicago” and also"Joan Jett" & “Lynyrd Skynyrd”.

At the core of Smokehouse Lightning sound is guitarist & vocalist Ryan Kelly. Ryan takes his influences of blues and rock to create a sound that respects the tradition of blues but also pushes it to its rock boundaries. His talent and feel of the music is well beyond his years. The band's set list is filled with an entertaining and danceable mix of blues, swing, classic rock & southern rock. The bands dynamic and nucleus makes for an outstanding mix of sound and music.
