Silk & Olive is the brainchild of Portland singer songwriter Andy Fish. East of PJ Harvey, west of Cat Power, her sound is dark, melodic and sparse. Piano samples, synth washes and effected violin help take the listener on a somber, yet comforting, narrated journey.
