I'm also a professional recording engineer of 9 years in New York City before I moved down here, I've since been putting together enough top shelf equipment to record bands down here.I've also got the connectors to record live in a club as well.

I listen to all kinda of music so it's a hard one as there are so many great players. Let's see Jimi Hendrix, Jimmi Page, Stevie Ray Voughn, David Gilmore, Jerry Garcia, BB King, Muddy Waters, James Taylor, CSNY, Neil Young, Bob Dylin, John Scolfield, Larry Cantrell and of course Miles Davis.

Outboard:

I've got some old tube ampex pre-amps / Altec Lansig preamps. And a whole host of outboard compressors and digital effecs racks.

I've also got a pretty extensive microphone collection with plenty of stands to complement these. I'm working twards setting up shop somewhere to use souly as a recording space however for now it's all set up in the warehouse we use for our pressure washing company. Though it still can be used for recording.
