I've been playing guitar for about 8 years now and am looking to start/join a band in the Champaign area (I go to school at U of I). I want to write and play originals (not really interested in covers, though one or two is fine), and I already have a few songs of material to work with. My playing style is influenced in or way or another by almost everything, but mainly I would say Classic/Prog Rock, Jazz, Blues and Funk, though also by some Flamenco, Classical, and Eastern music.

Equipment List:

As of now I no longer have any equipment aside from my guitars and an amp sufficient for practice sessions, but I am working on changing that soon. I do want to gig, so by that point I expect to have the equipment needed.
