ABOUT

Firstly, I don't check this site often so don't bother trying to contact me through here....instead, feel free to send email to soundwizard4atdotnet. Excuse the complete spelling but this site doesn't let you give out email addresses.

What I am about:

I am a recording engineer/producer with many years in the game, who for just as many years made an additional living playing in clubs. At this point, I am semi-retired and looking for others of like mind to make art. I am currently in the process of creating another studio where I and others of the same level of skill, talent and creativity can make recordings. I have a backlog of material which needs my attention, but I am very into creative input from others that I work with. While I have on many occasions performed all of the instruments myself (give the recording below a listen), I really enjoy working with others. I am currently looking for seasoned local area musicians who have vocal skills to link imaginations with and create something very unique while having a good time doing it. I love making magic in the moment and developing the production from that base. So if you are into composition and record production, it might be worth a chat.

I play several instruments competently with guitar being my primary. I am very into vocals (lead and backing harmonies) musical tempo and timing changes, and dynamics. In short, I sing and play well and can find my place within any arrangement. So if you have a band already making music together and need another person to round it out.....send a communique.
Good attitude is essential (i.e, must know how to play well with others both musically and socially). Am looking for those who are about my age (45) only because we tend to not be so obsessive about playing out given we have families and other things in our live besides music. I am not completely opposed to playing live, just been there and did that. Now I prefer to spend time with my wife and friends, so for me it would have to be infrequent and worth while financially.

Decent knowledge of theory, improvisation makes you a good musician. The ability to listen to others while playing makes you an above average player in my book. Do you fall into this catagory? Interested? If so...send a message along with your email contact and let's talk.

I wish you all well.
