I'm a 25-year-old who's originally from South Boston, MA. I'm a lead guitarist, but I'm currently playing rhythm/lead as the only guitarist in a singer/songwriter-type band. Right now, I'm in a band with a female vocalist, and a female violin player. We mainly play in the style of Ryan Adams, Damien Rice/Lisa Hannigan, Glen Hansard, Elliott Smith, The Tossers, Tonic, and other singer/songwriters and alternative bands. I guess we would be looking for other musicians, all though our sound does sound good by itself right now. We were thinking of adding a drummer, bass player, and then maybe any other type of less common instrument such as a penny whistle, bag pipes, mandolin, etc...

I have about a million bands that I like, but here's a few (sorry if you haven't heard of a lot of these): Led Zeppelin, Red House Painters, Damian Rice, Glen Hansard, Elliott Smith, The Tossers, Flogging Molly, Ryan Adams, Tonic, Third Eye Blind, and other musicians similar to this.

I have a Paul Reed Smith Custom 24 electric guitar, a Fender half-stack amp model FM100H, and a crappy (but pretty) Montana acoustic guitar (not electric/acoustic unfortunately).
