ABOUT
Spin is a Fox Valley based 5 piece band playing covers from classic rock to current top 40 rock. We have been performing through out the Valley for 12 years. We have agency representation. Full lights and sound production. Spin plays high energy rock and dance Classic to current but open to a bit of country . A few slow dance numbers when the mood calls for it. This is a great project with fun and professional minded musicians. We are currenly not seeking any players.

Influences
As a member of the band i can only speak for myself. I come from a long line of musical people in my family tree. My grandfather on my mothers side was a banjo player who sang bluegrass. My mother was a singer in a trio like the andrew sisters,she sang on live radio in the 40's along with her two sisters. My oldest sister an accomplished concert pianist..I took vocal lessons and grew up singing in church and stage musicals.I always thought Frank Sinatra/Rat Pack stuff my parents dug and danced to was pretty cool.My parents loved to dance.It made them happy, so it made me happy. I really pretty much like an endless array of music. I don't care if it's big band,swing,jazz.rock,oldies,hiphop,heavy metal, punk,grunge,,or something from a famous musical. I really just love music. and that's all there is to it.

EQUIPMENT
Spin has full light and sound production at a reasonable rate and is part of the incurred cost for the band shows. Each player provides their own individual instruments and amps for guitars ect. We have our own on stage monitor system and most all players-whether past or present have used their own in ear bud system . A few have not but this preferably suggested.
