We are currently searching for a bass player and a lead guitar player (both of which need to be able to sing strong backing vocals) to support this next album and create the third down the road.
We want to be very clear that this is not a hired gun situation, nor is this a paid position. This is a real band where everyone believes in the music, wants to see it succeed no matter what it takes, and shares in whatever profits the band brings in equally.
Qualified candidates should be able to rehearse, have an alt/rock look, be in their late 20's to late 30's, understand that the current album is done and they will need to learn the parts from both the first album and the current one, be professional and want to do this as a career, and most of all truly love the music.
There is a label, PR, radio promotion, etc. but we don't want anyone who is just in it for the money. The new album doesn't come out until next spring (2010) and between now and then we will be rehearsing and playing shows in and around the LA area.
If you don't already have a premier account on BandMix, feel free to contact management@audiolot.com with all your information (name, address, photo, myspace link, what you've done in the past, YOUR PHONE NUMBER, etc.).

Stealing Heather Bio:
Stealing Heather's music has been compared to the likes of Coldplay, Keane, Stereophonics, and Nada Surf (with a bit of The Cure thrown in just for good measure). Powerful and insightful, Joshua Aaron's writing evokes the emotion and energy that so many of us can relate to.
When asked to explain the meaning behind the name Stealing Heather, Aaron had this to say; "Over the years I've watched as our society has taken a turn for the worse. When I sat down and really thought about it I realized that everything we do stems from the youth of our culture. When I was growing up I'd watch the Smurfs or Garfield on Saturday mornings. Today, everything presented to our children deals with violence and negativity. We are only creatures of our environment and the more we keep presenting our children with these images and sounds the more we will be forced to watch the outcome unfold. We are essentially stealing the innocence of our children. The name Heather just seemed to be the essence of a pure young girl."
After five years of writing and recording, the debut CD entitled "6 Minutes To Somewhere" is now available.
