Hey, name's Steve and I'm really looking for musicians who want to start a band. I need musicians who really want to go somewhere with this, not just for fun. Of course, fun is what it's all about but I need someone who can practice at least several times a week. I'm flexible and can work around your schedule.
About me. I've been playing music all my life. I started on piano, then went to guitar, trombone, drums, and bass. Out of all the instruments I've played, I'm definitely best at drums, but I have experience with all the others (Except singing; I cannot sing very well). I had an old band and we played all over Chicago, from small pubs to the House of Blues. Greatest experience of my life-that's why I want to get back there. But I can't do it alone. I need someone who also wants to put in the effort to get there.
I'm more of a rhythm guy; I can write bass parts and especially drum parts. I can also help compose some rhythm guitar parts as well; however, I cannot write lead guitar. Not very skilled when it comes to writing catchy licks and riffs. Looking for someone who can do that.
