I'm a lead guitarist and myself and my best friend, a drummer, have been in several bands over the 25 years we've been playing. We are currently looking for a bass player to round out a "power trio" type band but will consider adding a couple of other musicians to fill out a band that wants to play some blues based rock, hard rock, and maybe some metal along with it. We are aged 40 or so and really want like minded individuals, not necessarily like aged folks. We both have families and jobs, but we have folks that support our musicianship so there is no DRAMA! Because of our work schedules we will only be able to jam once or twice a month for the time being, but I know where I can get bookings already so we need to round out the unit, tighten up everything and we'll be ready to go. We are a very solid twosome and we work very well together, but we need at least a solid bass player who can play in the "pocket" instead of a "lead" bass player. "Flea" type bass players are okay though.
