Long time hired gun weekend warrior on the Denver Colorado music scene. Have played a variety of styles in a variety of bands.
Some excellent, some good, some average.

I,ve learned something from every situation.

Can play most anything off the cuff. (Mr. Zappa and the obvious arranged stuff excluded). I usually can hear something once or twice and tag it. Okay, maybe three times if it's technical.

I do love a challenge though. I am at my best with new material on stage for the first time with people I've never met.(If they,re the real deal). I'm always humbled by my peers. Played since I was 10 years old. Professionaly since I was 23. Tastes range from Devo to John Prine, Gil Scott Heron, Crusaders, Steely Dan, Beatles (duh), Metallica, Split Enz, Floyd, Bob Dylan, Monster Magnet, Jane Monheit,Zep, Coltrane, Merle Winwood, Allison Krauss, Karrin Allison, Paul Simon, Frank Zappa, Patsy Cline, Beethoven, Joni Mitchell, James Taylor, Tower of Power, Isley Bothers, Dennis Chambers, Tony Bennett, ELP, and too many to mention here. Point is, I love to listen to & play good music. No prejudices. If it's good, it's good. Fancy myself a tasteful player, a competent hired gun. (Always looking for that magic situation though), with a love for texture, dynamics and the space between the notes.

Don't mind drinkers, but no alcholics. No drugs if you please.
